Dear Dr. Siegel:

Just wanted to let you know how appreciative I am of you and your staff. After doing all that you could for my Achilles tendon, you had no choice but to operate. You did a wonderful job and I had no problems afterwards. You guys are great, caring people and I would recommend you to anyone and everyone. Thanks again for everything and my feet are doing just fine!

Sincerely,
Anne M Karpinski

Dr. Jeffrey Siegel,

This is Rebecca Griffith I wrote a testimonial letter for you to say thank you for finally fixing my foot. It felt like for ever! I can finally do everything again! I hope you can use the testimonial, thanks a lot.

I was barely able to walk because my ankle hurt so much. I was through therapy and more. The topaz tendon surgery was the only thing that worked. It really didn't hurt that much and the recovery time wasn't as long as I thought. Now I am finally back to normal and can do all the activities I use to do. I can't wait to do another 60 mile BlKE-A-THON for American Cancer Society!!!!

R. Griffith

Having been an athlete my whole life I was devastated when I tore ligaments in my ankle for a second time and worried that my playing days may be over. Following the injury, the decision was made to attempt physically therapy in lieu of surgery to see how my ankle would respond. Three months into my physical therapy my ankle was not sufficiently healing and I was told that I would need surgery. It was also at this time that I was told that I should not return to any sports that required lateral movements, starting and stopping or cutting and that in essence at the age of 25 I was done with competitive sports.

When I first meet with Dr. Siegel he helped calm my fears by explaining that after Topaz tendon surgery I would be "as good as new, just like the injury had never happened." I was excited, but at the same time quite skeptical and following the three months of physical therapy I was frustrated and depressed. By this time I was worried less about returning to the field and merely wanted to get back to a normal life.

My surgery eventually took place during the first week of January in 2006 and was followed by another round of intense physical therapy. Following the Topaz tendon surgery and subsequent rehab, I was able to better than just return to a normal life, I was able to return and start for my team during the fall of 2006 rugby season.

Following my surgery I have never been stopped from doing any physical activities that I participated in prior to the injury and have even added some more. Since my injury I have played representative side rugby, returned to skiing, surfing, hiking and will compete in my first triathlon this summer. In addition, the only time I need an ankle brace is for added support during high intensity sports. I highly recommend Dr Siegel as well as the Topaz tendon surgery to anyone suffering from ankle or foot issues, especially high level athletes. He would be my first call should anyone I know need consultation for foot or ankle problems. I owe my return to healthy and active lifestyle directly to Dr Siegel and the Topaz tendon surgery.

I would like to say that my experience with the professionals at the Foot and Ankle Specialists of Bucks County was exceptional! After having had planter fascia surgery, combined with the removal of a nodule on my left ankle last year, I spent some time under the care of Jeffrey Siegle at the facility in Newtown, P A and was provided the utmost care and respect. My treatment options were explained in plain English, instructions given at each phase of my therapy, and careful attention paid to the overall process and evaluation of my progress. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone requiring post op therapy, and give many thanks to those who contributed to my successful rehabilitation.

Thank you guys!
